Songs on our Wedding

Long awaited new song from Ogak Jay is out!  

It's a double single two years after the release of my first album - Another Day. 

The two singles are:

1. Here comes the bride,  and 
2. The Wedding Vow 

They will be part of tracks in a future album project titled Songs on our wedding.

They were Inspired by preparations for my wedding and our exchange of marital vows. A pre-release private version was performed on our d-day, and now with a finer touch to it, we are so excited to make it public to all our fans to share that sweet , "Yes I do" experience with us. .

New Christmas Single - Santa Claus or Jesus

In the spirit of the coming season I am releasing a Christmas Single titled Santa Claus or Jesus. It's a kinda funny song but with deep meaning for reflections on practices at Christmas.
A section of the song says, "They sing hey you better watch out, Santa's coming to town; I just wonder when my Lord will come to town".

Ogak Jay Releases Debut Country Solo Album Titled, “Another Day”

“Another Day”

On August 28, 2016, I held a ceremony marking the official release of my debut studio album titled “Another Day”.  The ten track country music project is a collection of inspirational, worship and love songs, which will inspire you start a day on a bright note, encourage you as you carry on your activities for the day, and help you wind up with closeness to God and your family. The title track talks about the opportunities one has in each passing day and the possibility of attaining our life goals. The work also tells that temptations and challenges may come our way but with God on our side, we can overcome. My 2015 debut single, “My Little Angel” will bring you home to your family as it ends the track lists for the album.

 

 

 

The track “Another Day” was written on January 1, 2016 as I reflected on the practice of making New Year resolutions. The Lord gave me an insight that a New Year’s Day is no much different from any other day, and we need not wait for a new year to set targets and work to achieve our dreams. Each day we see is important. However, we only have twenty four hours ON for us each day; and every hour, every minute and every second counts.

The Project Team 

All songs were written by Ogak Jay except “Jesu My Lord” which is a popular Christian hymn and the chorus of “He’s with me” –a popular worship song in the southern Nigeria. The melody for the bridge of “The Reason Why I Live” was done by my producer Amby Junior. Lazz Hebron is the sound engineer and the work was recorded, mixed and mastered at Master Hits records, Port Harcourt. Sam  Royal has to his credit the beautiful artwork on the album. Mrs Happiness Amoson Horstead is the female voice at the backup.
